Director of Sales

About the role

The Director of Sales is a full‑time, on‑site position at Capri by Fraser in Phnom Penh. The role develops and implements sales strategies to drive room revenue, corporate accounts and group business while strengthening the hotel’s market position.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and negotiate contracts with corporate and group clients.
• Manage key client relationships and ensure high levels of customer service.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and market analysis.
• Coordinate sales activities with marketing and operations teams.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate the performance of the sales team.
• Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows and client meetings.
• Monitor market trends, competitor performance and customer feedback to optimise sales efforts.

Required profile

• Proven sales and sales‑operations experience, including target setting, pipeline management and use of sales CRM tools.
• Strong customer‑service and client‑relationship management abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management experience in a hospitality environment.
• Business‑development track record with success in identifying opportunities and closing deals.
• Relevant experience at a managerial or director level in hotel or lifestyle property sales.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing or related field.
