Customer Service Operations – Logistics & Freight

About the role

The Head of Department drafts the position profile with HR support and General Manager review. This role reports to the Operations Supervisor and works closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth day‑to‑day logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, execute and track sea import, export and transshipment activities.
• Liaise with overseas offices, agents, carriers, terminals, customs brokers and truckers.
• Prepare essential shipping documentation daily, including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices and certificates of origin.
• Update customers on the status of their shipments and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
• Negotiate and book cargo with shipping lines and manage customs clearances.
• Maintain effective relationships with clients, forwarders, customs authorities and ensure impeccable service.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges and resolve issues that may affect shipments.
• Coordinate collection and delivery processes up to the final destination according to customer requirements.
• Support ad‑hoc tasks, urgent duties and project assignments as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in logistics or freight forwarding, preferably with air and/or ocean freight exposure.
• Proficiency in English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
• Self‑motivated, hardworking, able to work independently and presentable.
• Customer‑oriented with strong interpersonal and communication abilities and a collaborative team spirit.
