Chief Representative – Logistics & Forwarding (Cambodia)

About the role

The position leads VICO’s presence in Cambodia, overseeing market monitoring, customer support, and cross‑border logistics between Cambodia and Vietnam. The role combines strategic representation, operational coordination, and stakeholder engagement to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Cambodia logistics market developments, regulations, customs procedures and cross‑border logistics updates.
• Collect market information on key industries such as garments, textiles, agriculture and manufacturing.
• Identify and assess local logistics partners including trucking firms, warehouses and customs brokers.
• Act as the local coordination point for Cambodia‑related shipments and support operations and key‑account teams in issue resolution.
• Assist with implementation of new or renewed business involving Cambodia routes.
• Support preparation of SOPs, operational guidelines and ensure smooth handover to Operations and Finance teams.
• Represent VICO at logistics associations, industry groups, trade events and maintain relationships with local stakeholders.
• Provide market insights to support regional marketing, promotions and improve customer confidence.
• Recommend process improvements and cost‑saving ideas, and perform other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years managerial experience in logistics, freight forwarding or international trade.
• Strong understanding of Cambodia’s logistics and customs environment.
• Experience with cross‑border logistics, preferably Cambodia–Vietnam.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Fluent in English; Khmer and/or Chinese is an advantage.
