Chief Representative – Logistics & Forwarding (Cambodia)

About the role

VICO is seeking a Chief Representative to lead its logistics and forwarding activities in Cambodia. The role will serve as the primary liaison between the company, local partners and regional offices, ensuring smooth cross‑border operations and market intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Cambodia logistics market developments, regulations, customs procedures and track cross‑border logistics updates (Cambodia–Vietnam).
• Collect market information on key industries such as garments, textiles, agriculture and manufacturing; assess local logistics partners (trucking, warehouses, customs brokers).
• Act as the local coordination point for Cambodia‑related shipments, supporting operations and key account teams in issue resolution and customer enquiries.
• Assist with implementation of new or renewed business involving Cambodia routes and understand basic logistics pricing and cost structures.
• Support preparation of SOPs and operational guidelines, ensure smooth handover of projects to Operations and Finance teams, and improve coordination between Cambodia, Vietnam and Head Office.
• Represent VICO at logistics associations, industry groups, trade events, exhibitions and seminars, maintaining relationships with local stakeholders and partners.
• Provide market insights to support marketing, regional promotion and non‑sales activities such as seminars and workshops.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external parties, recommend process improvements and cost‑saving ideas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
• Minimum five years of managerial experience in logistics, freight forwarding or international trade.
• Strong understanding of Cambodia’s logistics and customs environment, with experience in cross‑border logistics (Cambodia–Vietnam preferred).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills; fluent in English (Khmer and/or Chinese an advantage).
• Professional, reliable and able to work independently.
