Business Support Associate – Supply Chain

About the role

The Business Support Associate – Supply Chain provides operational and administrative support across procurement, logistics, contracting and inventory management for WFP Cambodia. Reporting to the Deputy Country Director, the role ensures efficient, compliant and cost‑effective delivery of goods and services to support programme implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end supply chain operations, including procurement, contracting, logistics, warehousing and distribution to meet timely delivery targets.
• Manage vendor engagement: conduct market assessments, oversee tendering, prepare contracts, monitor performance and resolve operational issues.
• Oversee movement, storage and control of supplies, ensuring accurate inventory records, shipment tracking, customs clearance and compliance with procedures.
• Maintain supply chain information systems, analyse operational data and prepare reports for planning, performance monitoring and decision‑making.
• Support financial and operational planning, including budget monitoring, audit readiness, risk mitigation and adherence to organisational policies.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics or related operational functions.
• Proven experience in supply and demand planning, inventory management, warehousing, transportation and end‑to‑end supply chain operations.
• Experience conducting market assessments, supplier evaluations, contract administration and vendor performance management.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Khmer.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems or similar platforms (e.g., SAP, WINGS) for transaction processing and reporting.
• Strong data analysis and KPI tracking abilities to support performance improvement.
• Budget monitoring and financial reporting skills.
