Business Statistics & R Analytics Instructor (Part‑time)

About the role

Dichi Academy seeks a passionate part‑time instructor to teach R programming and business statistics to aspiring data professionals. You will combine theoretical foundations with hands‑on case studies, guiding learners from basic concepts to real‑world business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging sessions on R, statistical analysis, and data‑analysis fundamentals, progressing to applied projects.
• Provide statistical guidance on regression, hypothesis testing, and predictive analytics using RStudio.
• Support learners with programming challenges, interpretation of results, and translation of findings into business language.
• Mentor students through full project cycles, from problem definition to actionable recommendations.
• Assess understanding via exercises, quizzes, assignments and capstone presentations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in data analytics, statistical analysis or business intelligence.
• Portfolio of 2–3 business analyses or dashboards demonstrating applied statistical work.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics or related field.
• Prior experience in teaching, training or mentoring in statistics or data analysis is preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in R and RStudio (regression, hypothesis testing, forecasting).
• Strong knowledge of business statistics (descriptive, inferential and predictive techniques).
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization and dashboarding.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
