Branch Manager – Banking Operations

About the role

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all branch operations, including deposit and loan functions, to achieve sales targets and ensure profitability while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Drive loan and deposit growth, revenue, and overall branch profitability.
• Develop and execute action plans aligned with head‑office strategy to increase market trust and cross‑selling.
• Build referral networks and promote branch products through internal and external relationships.
• Monitor loan repayments, credit quality, and collateral assessments with Personal Bankers.
• Lead the team to meet KPIs for deposits, loans, and service standards.
• Manage staffing, training, performance appraisals, promotions, and terminations.
• Conduct regular team meetings, market competitor analysis, and reporting to upper management.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, AML/CFT laws, and internal policies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and support the Deputy Branch Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of banking experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role leading a loan team.
• Strong knowledge of branch operations, cash handling, and banking regulations.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent in Khmer and English; Mandarin is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with bank-specific software applications.
