Assistant to Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Assistant to the Maintenance Manager will support the procurement and logistics functions that keep our maintenance operations running smoothly. You will work closely with suppliers, internal departments, and customs agents to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research for new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions, and payment terms for appropriateness.
• Obtain supplier quotes, prepare quote analyses, and secure management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to track order status and resolve issues such as defects or returns.
• Update and manage supplier, price, and contact databases.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders, and service contracts for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and ensure timely clearance.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with retention schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment, and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs and transport agents.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in the power, energy, or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian customs and tax regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team under tight deadlines.
