Assistant Manager, System Development

About the role

The Assistant Manager, System Development will support the design, enhancement and maintenance of the bank's internal applications. Working within cross‑functional teams, you will help translate business requirements into reliable, high‑performance software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance and develop systems according to business needs.
• Organise source code and projects using distributed version control.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyse requirements, design solutions and plan implementations.
• Utilise DevOps tools for building, deploying and monitoring applications.
• Monitor and maintain existing systems to ensure smooth operation.
• Prepare test environments for development, QA and UAT teams.
• Support testing, troubleshooting and issue resolution across teams.
• Perform daily service monitoring, backup and restore activities.
• Participate in daily scrum, sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies.
• Update Jira tickets accurately and handle ad‑hoc KPI tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in system development.
• Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, CSS, HTML5, C#.NET, Entity Framework, Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience in API development and system integration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
