Assistant Manager, Finance Business Partnering

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Finance Business Partnering plays a critical role in driving financial performance and decision‑making support for DKSH's country Business Unit in Cambodia. This role contributes directly to business growth by delivering high‑quality management reporting, budgeting, investment analysis, and financial controls that enable informed strategic decisions at the country level.

Key responsibilities

• Manage departmental operating budgets and costs in line with annual allocations.
• Lead the annual target‑setting process, coordinating reviews and preparing budget presentations for senior executives.
• Monitor and analyse monthly performance using systems such as CORE, Crystal and Prism, highlighting key issues and actions.
• Prepare and present the Business Unit’s monthly operations review to the Country Finance Manager.
• Provide financial analysis for contractual negotiations, profitability assessments and investment decisions.
• Deliver in‑depth commentary on advertising spend, working capital and cost development to support leadership discussions.
• Support strategic projects including M&A due diligence, restructurings and joint‑venture negotiations.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to streamline controlling processes using tools like Lighthouse, CORE and MORE.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Five to eight years of experience in a similar controlling role, preferably with country‑level exposure.
• Two to three years of experience in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles and budgetary management.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP accounting applications (advantageous).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in the local language; English proficiency is an advantage.
