Assistant Manager, Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Data Analytics & Business Intelligence will design, develop and maintain data models, dashboards and reports that support decision‑making across the company. Working on‑site in Phnom Penh, the role combines technical data work with close collaboration with business units to turn insights into actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data models, interactive dashboards and regular reports for multiple business functions.
• Collect, cleanse, validate and integrate data from diverse sources, ensuring high data quality.
• Perform statistical and trend analysis to identify patterns and support strategic decisions.
• Translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations and define key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and ensure data accessibility.
• Manage Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), support data‑governance initiatives and train end‑users.
• Continuously improve reporting processes to increase operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong data‑analytics background, including data collection, cleansing, validation and statistical analysis.
• Experience with Business Intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Tableau and dashboard design.
• Proficiency in SQL, relational databases and spreadsheet tools for data manipulation.
• Ability to turn data insights into business recommendations, develop KPIs and monitor performance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in manufacturing, cement or related industrial sectors is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Phnom Penh and manage multiple priorities with high accuracy.
