Assistant Manager, Compensation & Benefits

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Compensation & Benefits will support the line manager in planning and administering salary, benefits, and related payroll processes. This role ensures compliance with Cambodian labor law and internal policies while providing accurate compensation data.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in annual salary and benefits planning, budgeting, and market compensation surveys.
• Prepare work plans to ensure effective workflow and timely processing of allowances and overtime.
• Collect and review staff dependent declarations for tax exemption compliance and update HRMS for child allowance calculations.
• Process monthly MEMO allowances (hardship, evening shift, birth child celebration) according to remuneration policy.
• Gather and input overtime sheets for all projects, supporting the Compensation and Benefits team.
• Coordinate with employee data officers to provide contracts and calculate notice obligations.
• Ensure separated staff receive final packages in line with labor law, HR policy, and internal rules.
• Calculate and process severance, unused leave, and other entitlements, and reconcile staff loans monthly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, or business administration.
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience with a strong focus on payroll and compensation.
• Strong numerical, analytical abilities and knowledge of Cambodian labor law.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with HR software (preferred).
