AP/Inventory Officer – Accounting & Stock Management

About the role
The AP/Inventory Officer is responsible for managing supplier invoices, inventory movements, and ensuring accurate accounting records in a retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review and verify supporting documents and approvals before posting.
- Record supplier bills upon inventory receipt, billing, transfer, etc., in the system.
- Review stock movement and cost in the system and reconcile daily stock count reports with accounting records.
- Investigate discrepancies, adjust stock variance, expired, damaged or obsolete items according to policy.
- Reconcile supplier statements and AP balances, collaborating with the AR officer.
- Participate in stock counts for internal control purposes.
- Support month‑end, year‑end closing and audit requirements while ensuring compliance with accounting policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum 2 years of AR or revenue accounting experience.
- Retail accounting experience preferred, especially in a mart environment.
- Good knowledge of Cambodian tax regulations is a plus.
