Accounts Executive

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive Finance & Accounts Executive to support the Finance Team Lead in managing full sets of accounts for four business units – two automotive subsidiaries and two investment‑holding entities. The role offers the chance to own the accounting function, work closely with operations, and drive process improvements and system enhancements in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts and execute timely month‑end close for both automotive and investment‑holding subsidiaries.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, weekly cash‑flow forecasts and quarterly GST reports in line with group standards.
• Perform bank reconciliations, balance‑sheet schedules, and monitor work‑in‑progress and AR ageing.
• Maintain fixed‑asset registers, support intercompany reconciliations and liaise with external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretaries.
• Collaborate with operations teams on day‑to‑day transactions and support ERP migration projects (NetSuite).
• Identify and implement process automation opportunities and strengthen internal controls.
• Assist with ad‑hoc finance projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience handling full‑set accounting and independent month‑end close.
• Strong understanding of general ledger, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Ability to work in a high‑volume transaction environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and capable of taking ownership of tasks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
