Account and Finance Supervisor

About the role

The Account and Finance Supervisor will lead the finance function for Bureau Veritas Cambodia, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance, and strategic financial analysis. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to the Regional Finance Manager and works closely with operations, HR, and procurement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse productivity dashboards, identify issues and recommend improvements.
• Analyse operating expenses against budget and prior year, and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Lead projects focused on cost reduction and evaluate investment proposals.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and monitor financial performance versus targets.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly closing processes and ensure accurate financial statements.
• Coach and monitor the Cambodia finance team on accounting standards and best practices.
• Manage tax, legal, and compliance matters.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure correct personnel charges and PIT calculations.
• Monitor purchase, inventory of lab consumables and sample warehouse for cost efficiency.
• Support the Regional Finance Manager with ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting practices.
• Experience in auditing and finance, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Excellent analytical abilities and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.

• Proficiency with accounting software and financial management tools.
