Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be based on‑site in Phnom Penh, overseeing all cost‑related aspects of construction projects from early estimates through to final accounts. This full‑time position ensures projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and detailed cost plans.
• Conduct cost forecasting, monitoring, and control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce accurate cost reports and advise project managers on financial risks and value‑engineering opportunities.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, procurement, and site teams to align cost objectives.
• Support contract administration, evaluate variations and claims, and drive continuous improvement of cost‑management processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• 4‑5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in cost & planning.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, tendering processes and BOQ preparation.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Effective time‑management, organizational and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to travel as needed.
