Senior Programme Associate (Climate Analytics)

About the role

The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a Senior Programme Associate to lead climate analytics activities in its Phnom Penh office. This 12‑month service contract supports WFP’s strategic objectives on food security, climate resilience and sustainable development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide analytical support on climate‑related programmes, contributing to evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Collaborate with the Programme Policy Officer (VAM & GIS) to integrate climate data into WFP’s monitoring and reporting frameworks.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documents, briefs and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of WFP’s country strategic plan 2024‑2028, aligning climate analytics with SDG 2 and SDG 17 outcomes.

Required profile

• National of Cambodia with a strong commitment to humanitarian principles.
• Relevant academic background in climate science, environmental studies, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience in programme analysis or policy support within an international organization.
