Procurement & Shipment Operator

About the role

The company is looking for a proactive operator to support procurement, supplier management and shipment activities in Phnom Penh. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, customs agents and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market exploration for new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotes, prepare quote analysis and support management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to monitor order status and resolve issues such as defects or returns.
• Update supplier and price databases and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipment and clearance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodian customs.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong teamwork ability in a multicultural environment and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Negotiation and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts.
• English proficiency, both written and verbal.
