Part-Time Lecturer in Fashion Design

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, forward‑thinking Part‑Time Lecturer to teach Fashion Design at degree level. The role combines academic instruction with practical industry insight to prepare students for careers in fashion and the creative sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lectures, workshops, practical demonstrations and critique sessions.
• Design and continuously update course materials, lesson plans and learning activities.
• Assess student projects, examinations and portfolios, providing constructive feedback.
• Mentor students on academic development, portfolio creation, graduation collections and career planning.
• Support curriculum development, departmental events, student showcases and institutional activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fashion, Fine Arts, Media Production or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience or experience conducting professional workshops.
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry software and technical tools.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, mentoring and collaborative abilities.
