Commis 2 – Staff Canteen (Hotel Kitchen)

About the role

The Commis 2 – Staff Canteen supports daily food preparation, cooking and service for the hotel’s employee dining facility. You will ensure that staff receive nutritious, high‑quality meals in a clean, welcoming environment while upholding Anantara’s brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare mise‑en‑place, cook and serve meals for the staff canteen.
• Assist other food outlets when required.
• Maintain strict compliance with Food Safety Management System (FSMS) guidelines, including proper storage, labeling, dating and FIFO stock rotation.
• Keep work areas, service lines and kitchen equipment clean and hygienic at all times.
• Handle hotel property, kitchen tools and machinery with care to avoid loss or damage.
• Complete daily kitchen checklists, temperature logs and cleaning schedules.
• Support departmental training sessions and assist with hotel banquets, staff events or special functions.
• Follow all personal hygiene, grooming, health & safety and fire safety regulations.
