Assistant to Group Chief Procurement Officer

About the role

The Assistant to the Group Chief Procurement Officer will support procurement activities to secure high‑quality equipment at competitive prices for construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full procurement process from sourcing to contract management.
• Collaborate with project managers, construction teams and other stakeholders to understand procurement needs.
• Identify, evaluate and qualify potential vendors and monitor their performance.
• Track procurement costs, report savings and analyze market trends.
• Assist in developing, reviewing and managing procurement contracts, renewals and amendments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory procurement role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
