Team Leader – Housekeeping

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Team Leader to oversee housekeeping operations within an office environment. The role involves planning, coordinating and supervising daily cleaning activities to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage daily/weekly cleaning schedules.
• Lead and assign tasks to the cleaning team, ensuring timely completion.
• Monitor cleanliness standards and conduct quality checks.
• Provide guidance, coaching and corrective feedback to staff.
• Train team members to improve performance and efficiency.
• Enforce safety procedures, including proper use of chemicals and PPE.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding cleaning needs.
• Supervise floor‑scrubbing and related floor‑care activities.
• Maintain cleaning tools and equipment in good condition.
• Handle complaints or issues related to cleaning services promptly.
• Prepare reports and update management on operational status.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience leading a cleaning team.
• Ability to operate all standard cleaning equipment safely.
• Knowledge of office cleaning procedures and plant care.
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, and other common applications).
