Senior Large Business Loan Officer

About the role

The Senior Large Business Loan Officer is responsible for acquiring, onboarding, and managing large‑business loan clients. This role involves thorough credit investigations, underwriting, and ensuring high‑quality loan portfolios for the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand a portfolio of large‑business clients in line with credit policies.
• Provide financial advice, loan packaging, and cross‑sell banking products.
• Collect and verify all required documentation for loan applications.
• Conduct site visits to assess business premises, collateral, and loan purpose.
• Prepare detailed credit appraisal reports and financial analyses for approval.
• Execute loan contracts, arrange timely disbursements, and monitor repayment performance.
• Perform regular post‑disbursement reviews, ensure covenant compliance, and manage delinquent accounts.
• Collaborate with credit teams and stay updated on new loan products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in business banking or large‑business lending with a proven track record.
• Strong knowledge of credit policies, underwriting procedures, and loan documentation.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
