Senior Large Business Loan Officer

About the role

The Senior Large Business Loan Officer is responsible for acquiring, onboarding, and managing large‑business loan clients. This role involves thorough credit investigations, scoring, underwriting, and ensuring high‑quality lending across the Large Business Loan segment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand a portfolio of large‑business clients in line with credit policy and procedures.
• Provide financial advice, loan packaging, and cross‑sell banking products.
• Collect, verify, and analyse all required documentation, including credit histories and financial statements.
• Conduct on‑site visits to assess business viability, collateral adequacy, and loan purpose.
• Prepare detailed Credit Appraisal Reports with financial analysis for approval.
• Execute loan contracts, arrange timely disbursements, and monitor repayment performance.
• Perform regular post‑disbursement site visits to review business conditions and collateral status.
• Monitor portfolio risk, enforce covenants, and manage delinquent accounts.
• Handle complex client issues, stay updated on new loan products, and promote a speak‑up culture within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in business banking with a proven track record.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
