Remote Khmer-English Interpreter (Full-time)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Khmer‑English interpreter to facilitate clear communication between Khmer‑speaking and English‑speaking participants. The role requires quick, accurate processing of spoken information while maintaining a professional and confidential environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret spoken content from Khmer to English and vice‑versa in real‑time.
• Render concepts accurately according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions.
• Explain cultural references when requested by the client to prevent miscommunication.
• Maintain a quiet, secure home office and use note‑pads, glossaries, and dictionaries as needed.

Required profile

• Fluency in both English and Khmer.
• Minimum two years of interpretation experience preferred, but not mandatory.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note‑taking abilities.
• Ability to explain cultural concepts on demand.

Required skills

• Computer or laptop running Windows 10 or higher.
• USB‑wired headset.
• Stable wired internet connection.
