Procurement Senior Supervisor

About the role

The Procurement Senior Supervisor will lead daily procurement and purchasing activities for a food manufacturing operation, ensuring a reliable supply of food‑grade raw materials, ingredients, and packaging. The role involves sourcing both local and international suppliers, negotiating terms, and coordinating with production, QA, warehouse and finance teams to guarantee timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase food‑grade raw materials, ingredients and packaging for noodle and seasoning production.
• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable local and international suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, MOQ, quality requirements and delivery schedules.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations, prepare price comparison reports and monitor market prices for cost‑saving opportunities.
• Coordinate imported materials and manage international supplier relationships.
• Monitor purchase orders, supplier delivery schedules and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Review supplier documentation such as COA, product specifications, food‑grade certificates, MSDS/SDS and country of origin.
• Support supplier qualification, evaluation and audit activities.
• Prepare regular procurement and supplier performance reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Food Science, Food Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably in food manufacturing, FMCG or related food industries.
• Experience purchasing food ingredients, raw materials and food packaging materials.
• Good understanding of food‑grade raw materials, GMP, HACCP and related food safety documentation.
• Strong supplier sourcing, price negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Khmer and English; Chinese language proficiency is a priority.
