IT Manager – Local (Phnom Penh)

About the role

The IT Manager – Local is a full‑time, on‑site position at Hôtel KVL in Phnom Penh. You will be responsible for the hotel’s entire IT ecosystem, ensuring that all technology services run securely, reliably and efficiently to support both guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the hotel’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, Wi‑Fi and user devices.
• Manage core hotel applications such as the Property Management System (PMS), Point‑of‑Sale (POS), telephony and guest‑facing technologies.
• Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Monitor system performance, resolve hardware and software incidents, and enforce cybersecurity and data protection policies.
• Administer data backup, recovery processes and ensure data security.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, IT asset inventories and license records.
• Provide IT training, user support and clear guidance to non‑technical staff.
• Contribute to technology planning aligned with operational and guest experience goals.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, storage, user devices) with hands‑on on‑site experience.
• Experience administering hotel‑related applications (PMS, POS, telephony, Wi‑Fi portals) or similar business systems.
• Proficiency in systems administration, backup/recovery and cybersecurity best practices.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, manage projects and coordinate vendors.
• Effective communication skills to support non‑technical users.
• Organizational skills for managing documentation and asset inventories.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience in hospitality, retail or service‑oriented environments in Phnom Penh is beneficial.
• Fluent English; Khmer language skills are an asset.
