Customs Coordinator

About the role

Jabil is seeking a Customs Coordinator to manage daily import and export customs documentation and ensure smooth customs clearance for equipment and returned parts. The role supports the operations team by providing timely information and maintaining accurate records of customs activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Operations department to schedule and execute daily import and export customs declarations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of all customs declarations in accordance with contractual agreements.
• Provide the Operations team with status updates on equipment and parts customs clearance.
• Prepare required documents for settlement of existing customs contracts as directed by the Customs Supervisor.
• Assist in the preparation of new customs contracts following supervisor instructions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Ability to present information clearly to managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficiency in using a personal computer with a Windows operating system and related software.
• Capability to write simple correspondence and understand visual aids.
• Basic arithmetic and ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret graphs.
