Assistant Manager – Field Sales

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Field Sales will lead a sales team to drive growth for DKSH’s Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) portfolio in Cambodia. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding customer relationships and ensuring in‑store excellence across wholesalers and retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Implement short‑term sales strategies, route planning and new customer generation to meet targets.
• Track and monitor team KPIs through the Eco‑Plus system, ensuring regular customer visits and sales route execution.
• Execute sales activities such as product introductions, marketing roll‑outs, order taking, display setup and in‑store merchandising.
• Drive speed‑to‑market for new product launches and ensure early market penetration.
• Maintain strong relationships with key wholesalers and retailers to support sustained growth.
• Monitor competitor activity, produce reports and recommend counter‑actions.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and contracts, and generate sales reports highlighting demand fluctuations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for timely product delivery and customer development.
• Lead team development through coaching, KPI supervision and capability building.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Marketing, Economics or related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar sales management role within FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of the Cambodian market, competitor landscape and customer profiles.
• Hands‑on field experience in sales and customer management.
• Fluency in the local language; English proficiency is an advantage.
