iOS Engineer (Swift and Objective‑C)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced iOS Engineer to work remotely on an hourly contract basis. You will review AI‑generated iOS code, evaluate mobile architectures, and create high‑quality reference implementations and step‑by‑step explanations for complex engineering problems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by writing detailed prompts and reference answers on iOS topics.
• Review and assess AI‑generated code for correctness, security, performance, and best‑practice adherence.
• Identify issues in UIKit/SwiftUI, concurrency, memory management, networking, persistence, and build/release processes.
• Fact‑check technical information and produce clear, high‑quality explanations.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses to improve model reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience building production iOS applications.
• Deep knowledge of Swift (Swift 5+) and, ideally, Objective‑C codebases.
• Strong understanding of iOS fundamentals, app lifecycle, and state management.
• Solid experience with concurrency (GCD, OperationQueue, async/await) and ARC memory patterns.
• Experience with networking, JSON parsing, caching, and persistence layers.
• Familiarity with testing, CI/CD pipelines, and App Store release processes.
