Senior Technical Consultant – Quality Assurance for 2026 Cambodia DHS

About the role

The Royal Government of Cambodia, through the National Institute of Statistics, is conducting the 2026 Cambodia Demographic and Health Survey (CDHS). UNFPA seeks a senior technical consultant to provide remote oversight of data quality, analysis, and reporting, ensuring the final survey report meets international DHS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Data Processing Expert and other technical staff remotely.
• Lead joint data analysis and coordinate report writing.
• Validate data processing workflows, CAPI implementation, and CSWeb data transfers.
• Ensure technical quality and coherence of all final outputs.
• Provide expert guidance on DHS methodology and new questionnaire modules.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in large‑scale household surveys.
• Proven track record in data quality assurance and statistical reporting.
• Familiarity with DHS standards and survey modules such as social protection, mental health, and gender‑based violence.
• Ability to work independently and provide remote technical leadership.
