Procurement and Customs Officer

About the role

The Procurement and Customs Officer will support the sourcing of goods and services, manage supplier relationships, and ensure smooth import processes through effective customs clearance. This full‑time position works closely with internal departments and external partners to maintain a reliable supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market exploration for new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions, and payment terms for appropriateness.
• Obtain supplier quotes, perform quote analysis, and prepare documentation for management approval.
• Maintain contact with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and service fulfillment.
• Update and maintain supplier and price databases regularly.
• Resolve issues such as defective goods, damages, and returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders, and service contracts for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and ensure timely clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment management, and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs and transport agents.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in the power, energy, or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian customs regulations and tax provisions.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team under strict deadlines.
