Assistant to Maintenance Manager (Procurement & Logistics)

About the role

The Assistant to the Maintenance Manager will support procurement, shipment and customs activities for the maintenance department. This role ensures timely sourcing, ordering and delivery of goods and services while maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research for new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotes, perform quote analysis and prepare documentation for management approval.
• Maintain contact with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and service compliance.
• Update supplier and price databases regularly.
• Handle issues such as defective goods, damages or returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders or contracts for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and clearance.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation in line with retention schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years experience in procurement, shipment and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodian customs and transport agents.
• Knowledge of procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sector is an asset.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of Cambodian customs, tax provisions and technical procurement standards.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
