Trade Sales Manager

About the role

The Trade Sales Manager will drive revenue growth for Maybank Cambodia by managing existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities in trade finance and cash management. The role combines sales leadership with deep advisory expertise to deliver tailored solutions that increase wallet share and market utilization.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales budget and revenue targets as defined in the balanced scorecard.
• Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers and expand business with existing clients.
• Provide high‑quality advisory services on trade finance and cash management products.
• Manage the sales pipeline, including upselling and cross‑selling of bank solutions.
• Collaborate with product partners and internal channels to deepen wallet size and market penetration.
• Plan, execute and oversee trade and cash‑management product strategies.
• Assess and improve existing product features and develop new packaging or promotions.
• Monitor transaction support, ensuring operational controls mitigate risk and comply with Cambodian regulations.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, internal policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a growth‑oriented sales environment.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets.
• Understanding of trade regulations such as UCP 600 and URDG 758.
• Knowledge of working capital, accounts payable and receivable solutions.
• Familiarity with financial management, reporting definitions and cost allocation principles.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
