Senior Purchasing Officer – Local & Overseas Sourcing

About the role

Our client, a specialist in bathroom equipment, sanitary ware and construction materials, is seeking a Senior Purchasing Officer to lead both local and overseas sourcing activities, with a strong focus on international suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and develop suppliers locally and abroad, especially in China.
• Negotiate price, quality, MOQ, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Issue purchase orders and monitor overseas production and shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics, warehouse and finance teams.
• Track import documents, shipping paperwork and delivery timelines.
• Compare quotations to uncover cost‑saving opportunities.
• Assess supplier performance and maintain strong relationships.
• Prepare regular purchasing reports to ensure timely product availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or a related field.
• 2–4+ years of purchasing experience, preferably in construction materials, sanitary ware or bathroom equipment.
• Proven experience in overseas sourcing and import handling.
• Strong English communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proactive, organized and able to work independently.

What we offer
