Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will support the sourcing of goods and services, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery and compliance with procurement policies. This role works closely with internal departments, transport agents, and customs authorities to facilitate smooth import operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market exploration for new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions, and payment terms to ensure suitability.
• Obtain supplier quotes, perform quote analysis, and prepare documentation for management approval.
• Maintain contact with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery and service fulfillment.
• Update and manage supplier and price databases regularly.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and clearances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment handling, and customs clearance in Cambodia.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong teamwork ability in a multicultural environment and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Negotiation and analytical skills.
