Sales Manager – Logistics

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our logistics and freight forwarding sales team. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring excellent customer service across import, export, and customs clearance services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and manage the sales team to meet and exceed targets and KPIs.
• Set sales targets, develop annual sales plans and monitor performance.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and pricing to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
• Coordinate with outdoor sales and operations teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Handle complex customer inquiries, resolve pricing issues and maintain competitive rate structures.
• Maintain rate databases, contracts and documentation for audit readiness.
• Coach, train and evaluate team members, providing regular feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics or related field.
• At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in logistics or freight forwarding.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Strong understanding of import/export, freight and customs clearance services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent English with the ability to work under pressure.
