Commercial Field Sales Internship

About the role

The Commercial Internship Program at DKSH places you on the front line of customer engagement within the Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector in Cambodia. As a Representative, Field Sales you will support sales and promotional activities, ensuring product availability, in‑store excellence, and strong relationships with customers and dealers.

Key responsibilities

• Implement structured action plans, including regular customer calls, visits, and order taking, to meet sales targets.
• Execute sales activities across assigned territories, set up Point‑of‑Sale Materials, and maintain in‑store merchandising.
• Ensure product availability and compliance with stock‑keeping unit (SKU) deployment.
• Record and maintain accurate sales data for reporting and performance tracking.
• Conduct FIFO stock freshness checks and drive continuous improvement of sales processes.
• Build and maintain strong customer and dealer relationships, handling complaints and queries promptly.
• Monitor competitor activities and report findings to supervisors.
• Submit customer orders to wholesalers to achieve On‑Time, In‑Full (OTIF) delivery.
• Participate in self‑development activities and administrative coordination tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
• One to two years of experience in sales or a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of the FMCG industry, market dynamics and competitor landscape.
• Familiarity with the assigned territories, products and services.
• Fluency in the local language; English proficiency is an advantage.
